In order to maintain our position at the leading edge of sensor platform development, Imego has invested heavily in equipment. There are two reasons behind this. The first is to ensure we have on-site access to the latest technology. The second is quite simply that as a commercially driven enterprise, our clients demand it this way. Our laboratories offer our team the tools they require to develop the products and solutions that will ultimately result in tangible benefits to our clients.
Each item of equipment in our MEMS characterisation lab has been carefully chosen for its ability to support and compliment the lab’s other equipment. This approach means we are able to achieve a more comprehensive overview of the characterized devices.

Imego’s electromagnetic sensor unit works with magnetic and electromagnetic sensor systems. The unit has major laboratory facilities for both static and dynamic magnetic characterization, a magnetically shielded room for low magnetic field and low noise measurements and equipment for microwave measurements up to 85 GHz.

To ensure effective development and evaluation of our sensor systems, Imego has created a superbly well-equipped laboratory. Projects involving the development of new immuno-assay platforms require measurements with standard techniques for reference measurements and evaluations. We have four different instruments that measure absorbance or fluorescence in couvettes and microtiter plates, respectively. Furthermore, our stereo microscope is also of use in these projects. At Imego we have two photonics laboratories. They are used mainly for two purposes. The first purpose is for set up, testing, evaluation and demonstration of various optical measurement techniques and optical sensor systems. The second purpose is for measurement and evaluation of electro-optical components, such as different types of detectors and light sources, and of optical components such as optical filters, polarizes lenses, mirrors, etc. READ MORE |
