Although these products span an impressively wide area of applications, they share several core characteristics – innovation, the incorporation of leading edge sensor technology and major benefits for users in their particular area of application.

Motion tracker IMT40

The IMT40 is designed for measuring all details of rapid, violent motions. The motion tracker is completely based on MEMS components, which results in small size, ruggedness, shock tolerance, and cost effectiveness. The system is built around the proven Imego digital Butterfly Gyroscope (IBG20).

Motion tracker IMT30

The IMT30 is a compact, highly accurate, and lightweight inertial navigation sensing system. IMT30 includes magnetic sensors, inclinometers, accelerometers and Imego’s own developed IBG20 Butterfly Gyro.
The IMT30 accurately produces magnetic readings, acceleration and rotation
rate signals.

GyroSense

The GYROsense platform consists of an ASIC and a programmable digital electronics board containing an FPGA and support electronics. The platform is a powerful gyro test and evaluation tool that can be used for most capacitively excited and detected MEMS gyros. It can handle a wide range of capacitance values, sampling speeds and resonance frequencies.

Butterfly gyro

All Imego gyros are of the MEMS type and based on the patented Butterfly gyro principle i.e. a vibrating silicon gyro utilizing the Coriolis force that is electro statically actuated and capacitive sensed. The Butterfly gyro structure has inherently high vibration and shock immunity making it ideal in harsh environments and high performance applications. Today, Imego can demonstrate noise and stability figures for our gyros that are world class.

Triaxial accelerometer

The Imego accelerometers are especially suited for demanding navigation and industrial measurement applications
due to its high performance and symmetrical properties, but can also be adapted to high-volume low-cost applications such as home appliances, vehicles, mobile phones and toys.

AC susceptometer

Imego has developed a small portable instrument for dynamic magnetic analyses.
It has unrivaled performance with the largest frequency range available, regardless of size and price! The instrument can analyze magnetic samples in the form of colloids, powders or solid samples. It creates a “magnetic fingerprint” of the material making it useful for a wide variety of different applications, ranging from geologic soil analyses to medical diagnostics.

MERMAID

Imego has developed MERMAID, a measurement instrument for analysis of liquid and thin film properties using magnetoelastic resonance (MER) sensors. The MERMAID is useful in many applications, such as food processing, biomedicine and polymer testing.

Cancer diagnostics

An easy to operate instrument with disposable chip, PSA instrument enables point of care medical staff to analyse test results within minutes rather than days without compromising accuracy. At present, it is used predominantly in the diagnosis of prostate cancer, however future developments are planned to include other types of the disease.

Wireless humidity sensor

Wireless Humidity Detection System (WHDS) uses cost effective, disposable sensors for the wireless detection of moisture. A passive sensor is placed where moisture measurement is required. Its status is then monitored using a compact control unit with a 40 cm range.

Sunsitive

SunSitive offers sunbathers an early warning system against potentially dangerous UVA and UVB sunlight. Using photonic sensor technology, the device tells the user when the suntan lotion they have applied has ceased to offer adequate protection.
