Safety at sea is a current and dramatic field of work, often with much media exposure. CM Hammar has worked with the concept "safety at sea" since 1856, with projects varying from the production of compasses to sophisticated automatic activation apparatus for equipment such as among life rafts and life vests. C M Hammar's collaboration with Imego has involved technical development work and the development of demonstrators in order to find improved and less expensive components and sensor systems based on micro technology.
C M Hammar has also turned to Imego for environment surveillance, something that is often hard to include in the activities of a small company but where Imego's capabilities can be used to advantage. Less expensive engineering with maintained or improved quality in the "safety at sea" field will quickly open new markets and sales niches for C M Hammar. In turn, this will lead to continued expansion and increased employment.

Fixturlaser is a leading company in the field of measuring and aligning axle holder assemblies that may be crooked. Over the course of several years, Imego has enjoyed a cooperative agreement with Fixturlaser that involves a continuous exchange of technical information that can be of potential interest to their development. In recent years we have also conducted a number of studies aimed at refining Fixturlaser's measurement methods. The results of our latest study led to Fixturlaser investing in technology development that could significantly improve their market position.

The ability to guide drill direction with high accuracy is crucial in achieving the correct efficiency in activities such as mining and tunnel construction. Flexit's speciality lies in supporting drilling work with the help of magnetic field sensors and inertial navigation through exact position determination of the drill direction. Flexit’s collaboration with Imego will result in additional improved drilling position determination through the application of optimal technical solutions. The project involves Imego using its comprehensive expertise within inertial navigation and system construction in order to build compact high precision instruments for drill hole analyses.
