Abstract
The arrangement (10) includes sensors (13,14) and a device for generating a detection signal. A covering (23) covers the sensors and is applied with a protective agent. The sensors, when activated, are arranged to continuously measure and indicate changes of ultraviolet radiation passing through the applied protective agent on the covering. An independent claim is included for a method of detecting and registering incident UV radiation and the characteristics of a protective agent applied on the detector arrangement.
Development at IMEGO
We did the complete optical, mechanical and electrical design of the arrangement (10). This also includes the micro-processor program for the read-out, the calculation of the UV dose and the presentation. Together with mso-Jena, we have developed UVA and UVB filters, which are mounted in front of the sensors (13, 14).
