Abstract
This is a method and arrangement for detecting movement parameters in a moving object. The parameters include the acceleration and angular velocity of the object; the arrangement includes an Inertial Navigation System (INS) having at least one gyroscope and accelerometer for measuring the acceleration, angular velocity and effect of gravity on the sporting equipment.
Development at IMEGO
We have developed very small and light MEMS INS (Inertial Navigations Systems) to be fitted into the shaft (10) of a golf club and demonstrated unprecedented navigation accuracy (15) for this type of rapid and violent motion. We are continuously improving our skill and navigation performance in response to the challenges of customer projects.
