Vivaldi is a thin, broadband directional antenna developed for radar applications. The antenna is manufactured on a high-performance RF ceramic substrate. The antenna operates over the frequency band from 900 MHz to 5 GHz which makes it suitable for point-to-point Ultra Wideband (UWB) radar applications.
The Ultra Wideband antennas can be incorporated directly into the radar printed circuit board to achieve small size and low cost applications.
Imego’s radar applications are based on the Novelda AS radar chip, which is an UWB radar made in a standard CMOS process for enhanced, low-cost performance.
