Imego has been a world leader in MEMS motion sensing for over a decade. We’ve worked on all levels - from design of MEMS sensor chips, custom electronics to complete IMUs and application-specific graphical user interfaces. We have experience from using high-performance inertial MEMS sensors for navigation in many fields: sports, road vehicles, submarines, rockets, drill-hole surveying, pedestrians and car crash testing.
MEMS sensor and system manufacturing
As a complement and service to our customer we have a small scale ISO9001 certified production of MEMS sensors and sensors systems, like the IBG21 gyro and the IMT40 Motion Tracker. However, Imego main focus is not COTS manufacturing. But, Imego is a good option when the customer needs something special: Adaption of Sensonor´s STIM products, tailored system with special form factor, small size, high rates, high shocks, etc.
So far when Imego have been supplying gyros, the customer has always required something special, something that not is supplied by other manufactures. Most often when we act as supplier, we have also helped the customer to develop the system and tailored and optimized the gyro characteristic for that customers particular application.
