Custom MEMS Development

Imego has in-house all expertise and skills required to build high-performance inertial MEMS sensors, especially unique is our competence in building digital control algorithms for high-performance inertial MEMS sensors. In addition, Imego have IPR for two very competitive high-end MEMS sensor concepts: the “Butterfly” gyro and the 3-axis “Quad Slanted Beam” accelerometer.

Rapid MOTION Application prototyping

Imego operates a proprietary navigation engine, something that few outside the military industry can offer. This software package constitutes the base from which we rapidly can develop navigation and motion tracking applications. It is also possible to fuse additional sensor signals, as well as constraints on movement, into the software package. These constraints and additional knowledge increase the precision and prolong the useful navigation time compared to what would be the case for totally unknown six degree of freedom motion.

Another prerequisite in achieving high accuracy and long navigation times is calibration of the sensors and determination of their relative orientations. For this, we have longtime experience and adequate equipment; a temperature controlled rate table and a precision shaker with all the necessary control and analysis software.

Imego´s proprietary navigation engine can also be used with 3 party sensors and systems, for low cost inertial sensing applications, like e-health and other low precision motion tracking application.

GyroSense

The Gyrosense platform is a powerful gyro electronics development workbench that can be used for most capacitive excited MEMS resonators, especially suitable for MEMS gyros.

IBG20 Gyro Platform

Imego´s most flexible gyro platform there all gyro control is in the digital domain placed in a fully reconfigurable Xilinx FPGA.

IQA10 Triaxial Accelerometer Platform

IQA10 is a high-end MEMS accelerometer that is especially suited for demanding navigation and industrial measurement applications.

IMT30 Motion Tracker Platform

The IMT30 is a highly accurate and lightweight inertial navigation sensing system. IMT30 includes magnetic sensors, inclinometers, accelerometers and Imego's own developed IBG20 Butterfly Gyro.

IDM20 Wireless Motion Sensor Platform

Imego’s distributed measurement systems, the IDM20 and IDM21, consist of several inertial measurement units (IMUs) and one or more laptops with software for data collection and movement evaluation.

RETINA Platform

A hardware/software platform for REal-Time INertial Applications, that allows us to get out in the field and collect real measurement data and start developing algorithms from day one.
