Imego develops wireless sensors systems tailored for your specific application by using our unique knowledge of sensors, sensor electronics and data analysis. We focus on low-cost passive wireless sensors, low power sensor systems as well as wireless sensor networks.
Low-cost passive wireless sensors
Imego can provide for the wireless sensing of, for instance, temperature and humidity with low-cost sensors that can be deployed in large quantities or even be discarded after use. We have experience with passive RFID sensors and MER sensors for applications within automotive, personal care and building industries.
Wireless sensors & network
There are many applications were low power sensors and real-time wireless data transmission is required; Safety & Security where combination of different sensors, real-time communication and data processing from numerous field sensors at a central point is essential such that the information is properly given on how a situation should be effective handled. Presently, Imego participates in two FP-7 projects, ”Total Airport Security Systems” and ”Emergency Support Systems” and a Swedish project, “Ocean Search” where these elements are developed.
Wireless sensor networks provide long-term monitoring of multiple parameters such as temperature, humidity, gas concentration on many locations spread over large area. The gathered data can be accessed in real-time on an Internet connected computer or a smart phone. A couple of the applications are the optimization of irrigation in agriculture and measurement of the motion patterns of a patient with a body-area network.
